Hello!

I am Sawyer Swick, an Actor/Singer/Dancer currently attending Kent State University as a BFA Musical Theatre major and Dance Minor with an expected graduation date of May 2025.

About Me

Ever since I was child, I've had a fascination with imagined worlds. At first it was just a casual interest, but as I grew up I found myself being pulled towards creating.

I started off with stop motion videos (mostly Legos; I was working on a budget), then moved to role playing games, then on to writing, and finally into Theatre where I've been ever since.

Though my story is a common one, the pull of the creative process is something I've never been able to ignore, and I'm at my happiest when I'm working in a creative space with creative people doing creative work.

Hobbies

Whenever I'm not auditioning, in rehearsal, or performing, I have a list of things I like to fill my free time with.

I love to cook! Cooking, like performing, fulfills a creative desire for me.
Writing! Whenever I feel inspired, I'll sit down and write. Short form, long form, music -- really anything!
D&D, short for Dungeons and Dragons, is a big hobby of mine, and something I find myself stuck into for about a week out of every month. I love writing my own campaigns, practicing new voices for characters, and creating worlds to share with my fellow creatives!
